This country has more CCTV cameras in it than any other in the whole of Europe. That is quite a frightening thought.

As far as I am concerned, when George Orwell wrote 1984 the only detail that he got wrong was the actual year in question. Most of the other elements of his tale are totally accurate.

It is amazing to me how many pregnant women forget the important fact that there is life in their bodies. Some women carry on as if it is all about them and they do not have a precious little bundle of joy in their belly. I mean, come on now. Drinking that pint or lighting up that cigarette is absolutely inexcusable no matter how little you do it.
