Getting energized for energy control!
Recently a blog written by a graphic designer caught my attention. The blogger is working with a company known as Enigin PLC and the company has some brilliant plans lined up if you ask me. This particular blog post contains an example of the level of thought and understanding about the environment which the company possesses. The company is concerned about electricity consumption and awareness and plans to do something about it. Sounds like something which not everyone can come up with since it’s easier said than done!
Enigin PLC, however, seems to be particularly focused towards providing its customers with what they want from the company. The blog contains the mention of an interesting piece of news that the government in the UK is planning to install Smart Meters in each and every household in the next ten years. Though it is a mammoth task to achieve, apparently the blog writer was pretty impressed with the pictures of the future Smart Meter. The excitement in the blog is obvious because his company plans to do something on similar lines though not necessarily on such a big scale. The R&D department at Enigin is currently toiling over a Real-Time meter with an extremely fast interface. This should surely give everyone a jolt looking at our energy consumption levels!
The writer is enthusiastic and optimistic about the invention since it aims at mass use. Public places, such as schools, hospitals etc can put it to get latest consumption levels by putting the meter in regions of visibility. This device will have two versions differing in their workability by a tiny bit. The whole idea seems to be highly well planned and environment-friendly. This blog certainly forced me to think about my energy consumption patterns! Take a look at the blog for firsthand information and be a more aware person just like I’m trying to be! The blog is surely an inspiring and engaging read.
