Smoke-Free Smokers.
I came across a great gadget this morning that I think will be making someone a great deal of money. It is an ‘electronic cigarette’. As far as I can make out, it is actually manufactured by more than one company because the same product is sold under several different names.
It looks like a real cigarette and it even glows when you take a ‘drag’ but the only things you are inhaling are nicotine and a harmless vapour. I can see a lot of people being asked to put them out because they appear very real. The inhaled vapour looks just like ordinary cigarette smoke when it is blown out, although it is completely odourless.
The best thing about this gadget (for smokers) is that you can ‘smoke’ it anywhere without upsetting anyone around you. There is no smell, no ash and no tar. With the smoking ban in place over the whole of the country, this invention gives smokers an alternative to being banished to the great outdoors. The only problem they are going to have is convincing people that it isn’t real.
The electronic cigarette uses a small nicotine cartridge and a battery. Because it isn’t actually lit, you can simply keep it in your pocket until you want it. As it contains no tar it is not in the least bit harmful. In a nutshell, it works in exactly the same way as nicotine patches or gum.
A brilliant gadget for anyone who wants to try and quit; or for people who want to smoke without suffering any of the nasty effects.
Pay attention to this update: I have consequential news about the trailride, it appears that there is something about horse insurance that we need to look into. I know nothing about this, so Elizabeth if you could do this it would be lovely.
