Learning From Art.
I have always had a great love for comics, so when I found this post I just had to have a read.
This isn’t the first time that comics have been used to raise awareness about something and it will not be the last. Since the fifties they have been used to warn people of dangers, to advertise and to educate. I can still remember the seventies anti-smoking comic campaign with Superman and Nick O’Teen.
Out of all the stories that I have seen over the years, one of my favourites is still ‘Troubled Souls’ from the eighties which was all about the IRA activities in Northern Ireland.
So really quickly, I have something to admit. I love Xena Warrior Princess (sorry Carol). I was viewing the most recent season on dvd well into the night and the acting was brilliant! I would highly recommend this one to all of you…
