I have just come across a hilarious website called, ‘Elf Yourself’. If you have ever sat and messed around with photographs on a mobile phone or Paintshop then you are going to absolutely love this! The site allows you to upload photos of people and superimpose their faces onto the bodies of elves. Once you have done this, you are then able to watch them ‘perform’ in five different dances.

If you are into your gadgets (like I am) then have a look at the coolestgizmo website. This is one of the best places I have ever come across for gadgetry, gimickry and novelty.

Smoke-Free Smokers.

I came across a great gadget this morning that I think will be making someone a great deal of money. It is an ‘electronic cigarette’. As far as I can make out, it is actually manufactured by more than one company because the same product is sold under several different names.

It looks like a real cigarette and it even glows when you take a ‘drag’ but the only things you are inhaling are nicotine and a harmless vapour. I Read the rest of this entry »

Learning From Art.

I have always had a great love for comics, so when I found this post I just had to have a read.

This isn’t the first time that comics have been used to raise awareness about something and it will not be the last. Since the fifties they have been used to warn people of dangers, to advertise and to educate. I can still remember the seventies anti-smoking comic campaign with Superman and Nick O’Teen.
